We are glad you are here!

Kristine Williams is an elementary music educator in Stillwater, Oklahoma, whose teaching draws from Kodály-inspired practices, and the Orff Schulwerk approach. She recently completed her Orff Level III with Rob Amchin in Tulsa, Oklahoma. As an RYT 200 yoga instructor, Kristine weaves breath, body awareness, mindful movement, and dance into her teaching. She is also a Music Together® instructor at OSU’s Greenwood School of Music Preparatory Academy and brings years of early childhood music experience. A vocalist and choral director at heart, she often tells her students, “The only thing better than singing is more singing!” Kristine is passionate about creating joyful, movement-rich experiences that bring people together through music.
In this workshop, we will explore a variety of music and movement activities that build toward various school-wide traditions and community events such as: Bucket Drumming Day, Hispanic Heritage Celebration, Zombie Dance Day, Earth Day Celebration, Literacy Night, and Folk Dance Night. We will also explore everyday songs and dances that students can sing together as a school family throughout the year. Come ready to sing, dance, and play as we discover ways to take music beyond the classroom!
